Prices from £1395

Course duration 3 days

Course overview

Windows Server is the backbone of small and large business network alike, and is required to run Microsoft's industry standard application server such as Exchange, SQL and SharePoint. Running any kind of network infrastructure locally means knowledge of installing, configuring and administering Windows Server is an essential skill.

This course will explain the versions available, planning required to install and configure as well as how this fits in with Microsoft's virtualisation platform, Hyper-V. Active Directory is the basis of security for the entire network, including clients, so this is covered in depth, including Group Policy. Resource basics such as file, folder and printer access are also covered before moving on to monitoring and backup.
