In the modern business world Procurement is more than just buying things! An efficient Procurement process adds not just monetary value when dealing with suppliers, but it’s also important when establishing a positive relationship with them. Procurement should be one of the core aspects of a business, get it right and it helps a business to function effectively, but poor Procurement practices waste money, time and effort.
This one-day course is aimed at those who are new to Procurement, be they planning to start a career in Procurement, or wanting to know more about Procurement practices.
This course is delivered by Martin Higginson of ABA Procurement, the leading Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Centre of Excellence for East Anglia. ABA provide high level Procurement qualifications across the UK and beyond.
Martin completed his PGCE qualification at University of East Anglia Higher Education sector as a lecturer in Business Management for University Campus Suffolk and West Suffolk College. As the Course Leader for BA (Hons) Professional Studies, CIPS program leader, Course Director for Level 3 Business, as well as being a member of the BA Business Management lecturing team, he lectured on a number of Business Management topics including Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Management Strategies.
