This course is for anyone – and everyone – in a working role who wants to learn the basics of safety and health. No previous knowledge is required.

This is a completely different approach to safety and health training: a high-impact programme designed to be fun and inclusive. No jargon, no legalese – just inspirational learning that’s enjoyable, stimulating and effective. Working Safely covers:

• An outline of occupational safety and health
• Defining hazard and risk
• Identifying common hazards
• Improving safety performance

Written and practical tests are included in the day's training and on successful completion of the course you will be awarded with an Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate.

Please be aware that it can take 2-3 weeks for IOSH to process course results and issue IOSH accredited certificates.

The course runs from 9:30am through to 4:30pm. Refreshments are available from 9am.

You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
