This course is ideal for those who are taking the first steps up from being a team member to a team supervisor, but it is also suited to those who have already been in the role for a short while and wish to develop their skills further.
Course overview
Relationships and role models have a fundamental influence on the working environment and the day to day working experience of teams and individuals. A great Supervisor can mean the difference between a highly motivated highly performing team and one which is just going through the motions.
Great Supervisors promote a positive, organised and active environment. They provide clear structure and direction and support their team members to better achieve the goals of the business and increase productivity.
This course is for new supervisors who are stepping into this front line leadership role for the first time. It focuses on building confidence and understanding self and others, essential interpersonal skills which set the foundations for brilliant future leadership.
You’ll develop a supervision ‘tool kit’ to equip you to manage a range of responsibilities within the supervisory role, from building trust and communicating effectively to problem solving, planning and setting targets.
