This is an introductory qualification and is ideal for those with no previous formal training in the models and techniques for training and developing colleagues in the workplace.
This course is comprehensive in content at this level, building the skills, knowledge and abilities of a delegate that is required to be an effective trainer. You will be introduced to a range of essential tips, techniques, knowledge and skills covering:
- Planning, delivering and evaluating sessions
- Setting ground rules
- Use of icebreakers
- The learning environment
- Training resources
- Gaining and maintaining attention
- Motivation
- Assessment.
The knowledge and practical skills gained on the course will be assessed by a multiple-choice quiz and an observation (by the course tutor) of the participants delivering a 15 minute training session, on which they will receive formal feedback. The course runs from 9:00am through to 5:00pm both days.
You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
