Providing equality of treatment and opportunity is an important obligation placed on all employers. To ensure your organisation complies with its duties under the Equality Act 2010 and to avoid discrimination claims arising (and to give yourself the best defence if needed) it is essential that your managers and staff are aware of what is required of them to ensure not only legal compliance but that the organisation is in the best possible position to prosper through the advantages that diversity brings.
