It is always an advantage to have covered the topics in our Excel Advanced Level 1 course as there are many possible macro examples, but so long as you're happy with at least our Intermediate topics then you'll be fine.

• What If - Allows storing best, worst and expected values for your spreadsheet. It will even do your calculations in reverse if you know what you want the answer to be!
• Custom Views - Same data, different columns, filters and print setups are a click away
• Consolidation - Pull data from different sheets or workbooks, even if the layouts don't match exactly
• Manipulate Text - Import from database exports, find and extract relevant information
• Tables - Makes working with a block of data easier and allows fast publishing to SharePoint
• Conditional Formatting - Beyond the basic rules by using logic similar to IF
• Functions for Lists - many  functions such as VLookup and SUMIFS are made for lists
• Pivot Tables - Probably the fastest way to summarise and gain insight from large blocks of data
• Ch​arts - Secondary axis plus trend lines and all saved as a template
