There are no pre-requisites for the Foundation element of this course but delegates must pass the Foundation exam to be eligible to sit the Practitioner exam on day four. Some evening study during the course will be necessary in order to pass the exams.

Foundation

• The underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile.
• The lifecycle of an Agile project, including alternative configurations.
• The products produced during an Agile project and their purpose.
• The techniques used and their benefits and limitations.
• The roles and responsibilities within an Agile project.

Practitioner

• How to apply a variety of Agile practices in a project, e.g. Facilitated workshops, MoSCoW prioritisation, Iterative Development and Modelling.
• How to test, estimate and evaluate benefits delivery in an Agile project.
• The mechanisms for facilitation and support within an Agile project.
• The Agile approach to managing and prioritising requirements.

• This course takes 4 days
• Classes begin at 9:30am and end at 5:00pm
• There are 2 hours of homework to be completed each day
• There are 3 hours of pre-course study to be completed before joining the course.

The Agile PM exams are taken within one year of taking a classroom course. You must pass the AgilePM Foundation exam prior to sitting the Practitioner exam.

• 50 questions
• 25 marks required to pass - 50%
• 40 minutes duration
• Closed book.
• Results: Same day (online exam), 3 business days (classroom exam).

AgilePM Practitioner exam

• Multiple-choice
• 80 questions
• 40 marks required to pass - 50%
• 2.5 hours duration
• Open book
• Results: Same day (online exam), 3 business days (classroom exam).

Please note: The Foundation examination remains valid and will not expire. On passing the Practitioner exam you are recognised as an 'AgilePM Registered Practitioner'. You will remain registered for a period of 5 years.
