Format
Initial setting of objectives or areas of focus

The coach’s primary objective is to raise performance
The client chooses the focus of work and the areas of interest
The coach is there to assist in developing awareness, focus and a sense of influence
The process is a partnership which relies on trust and builds honesty and realism
The coach is not primarily a provider of solutions or rescue, but a glass through which direction and focus become clearer
The coach’s role includes challenging the executive to deliver beyond the limit of their current competency and learning
Action that delivers improved performance rests with the client
