This programme leads to the ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management, comprising the following units:
8607-504 – Leading Innovation and Change: Explore how to drive innovation and lead successful change initiatives that align with organisational strategy.
8607-510 – Managing for Efficiency and Effectiveness: Learn how to analyse, plan and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency and overall performance.
These units have been carefully selected to balance strategic thinking with practical leadership application.
How is it assessed?
Assessment is based on two written assignments (approximately 3,000–3,500 words each) completed within three months of finishing the course. Each assignment draws directly on your workplace project and leadership practice, demonstrating how you’ve applied learning to deliver measurable results.
All assignments are marked by one of our internal ILM-approved assessors and require a minimum 50% pass mark per unit.
Jarrold Training are an awarding centre with the ILM, and you will have direct contact with, and support from, our ILM lead assessor.
If you are referred after a formal submission, you can submit the assignments again after making changes based on feedback. We are here to help you on your ILM journey.
What accreditations will I gain?
