This two day intensive course is designed for all project management personnel including new project managers, project team members and project support staff who require a clear understanding of the fundamentals of project management.
This course is also suitable for anyone looking to achieve a nationally recognised, entry - level qualification in the discipline of project management.
No previous experience of working in projects is necessary. However, pre-read documentation is provided before the course and it is essential that delegates complete all of the recommended self-study prior to attending the event.

Full course syllabus
The accredited APM courses are delivered by Cupe, an Accredited Training Organisation.
APM PFQ exam - Taken online at a date / time you choose. NOTE: details of how to book yourself onto the exam will be sent to you on the first day of training.
It is recommended that the online exam is taken within 7 days of the end of the course.
- 60 multiple choice questions
- One hour's (60 minutes) duration
Online exam requirements:
Results are received within 6-8 weeks. Learners are notified that their results are available on the APM candidate portal by email. Upon successful completion, candidates will be sent a PDF certificate and have access to a downloadable digital badge which can be used as a sign of success.
After successful completion you are awarded the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification which is SCQF Level 6 and does not expire.
The course runs from 9:00am through to 5:00pm everyday.
You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
