The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification is designed for people who are just starting out in a new project management role or looking to change their career completely. This qualification is for people who want a broad understanding of the principles of the profession.

There are no specific requirements for experience or other qualifications that you must have before studying for the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification. However, you will most likely:

• Be working or plan to work in a project environment.
• Be looking to progress your career and improve your employability.
• Be interested in learning about all areas of project management and not a particular methodology.

The accredited APM courses are delivered in association with Parallel Project Training, an Accredited Training Organisation.

APM PFQ exam -  Taken online after training has been completed. Details of how to book yourself onto the exam will be given to you on the first day of training.

• 60 multiple choice questions 
• One hour's (60 minutes) duration

Online exam requirements:

• You will need access to a laptop/PC to complete your online exam.

Results are received within 6-8 weeks.  Learners are notified that their results are available on the APM candidate portal by email. Upon successful completion, candidates will be sent a PDF certificate and have access to a downloadable digital badge which can be used as a sign of success.

After successful completion you are awarded the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification which is SCQF Level 6 and does not expire.

The course runs from 9:00am through to 5:00pm everyday. 

You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
