This course is for anyone who want to become an effective change manager or is involved in change projects or programs. This course equips participants with the knowledge and understanding to act more effectively within a change team.
There are no prerequisites for this course. In order to be eligible to sit the Practitioner examination, you first successfully pass the Foundation certification exam.
You should consider taking this course if:
- Your current employer wants to initiate organizational change and you wish to support the initiative.
- You want to enhance your CV with an internationally recognized Change Management certification.
- You want to begin work as a dedicated Change Manager and want evidence of your competence in Change management principles and practices.
Change Management Foundation is the entry-level for the APMG Change Management certification.
This course consists of 4 learning modules that cover the full Change Management syllabus. Each module is further divided into smaller ‘episodes,’ each covering a few lessons, for your convenience.
Upon completion of all modules, our Change Management sample exams will help you prepare for your online exam for certification.

By completing all included learning modules, candidates will learn how to:
- Identify organizational change initiatives and their links with governance structures.
- Use a range of methods to understand, support and sustain change processes.
- Help plan or understand organizational change.
- Contribute effectively to the preparation of change initiatives, including building the team and improving team effectiveness.
- Help colleagues understand organization change and the human impact of transition.
- Build & maintain stakeholder engagement.
- Recognize signs of resistance to change and propose actions to mitigate it.

- Four sections, total of 50 questions

Practitioner Exam
- Objective testing based on a case study scenario
- 4 questions of 20 marks each
- 40 marks required to pass (out of 80 available) – 50%
- 2.5 hours duration
