This course is perfect for those working in any job role, across all sectors, to ensure that environmental sustainability is embedded in to all job roles of a company.
There are no formal entry requirements for learners to enroll on this course.
This 1 day course covers the main environmental risks and opportunities facing organisations; the importance of resource efficiency; the impacts of pollution, prevention, control and legislation; the impact of transport; and knowing how employees can support environmental sustainability.
The assessment consists of an online 20 question multiple-choice test, taken at the end of the course, and Learners must achieve 70% to pass.
The test is completed through the IEMA assessment portal and candidates are sent a link upon registration to the assessment.
On successful completion of the course and passing the exam you will receive:
- An IEMA branded and endorsed Environmental Sustainability Skills For The Workforce certificate
The course runs from 9:00am through to 5:00pm for 1 day. Refreshments are available from 8:45am.

You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
We aim to provide you with an effective, quality, learning experience to support your studies and to prepare you fully for the IEMA exam.
Your tutor is there to support you during the training and leading up to the exam and full completion of your qualification, so please discuss any questions with them, they are always happy to help. We also have a dedicated team of assessors and staff to support you through your learner journey.
