This course is aimed at people who have responsibilities for the day to day management of contractors working on sites:
- Area managers
- Site Managers
- Supervisors
There are no entry requirements for this qualification but delegates need to be proficient in written English to successfully complete the assessments. IOSH recommends that candidates undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests.
There is a 1 hour multiple - choice theory test at the end of the course.
ID
Please bring identification to the course in order to be registered with IOSH. Acceptable ID includes - valid driving licence, passport, national identity card or official company pass.
Delegates who successfully pass the multiple - choice assessment at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH certificate for 'Managing Contractors'.
There is no expiry date on the certificate. However, IOSH recommend to re-sit the training every 5 years or where there is evidence that additional training would support individuals i.e. near miss / accident reporting, appraisals or audit reports.
