ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management
The ILM Level 3 qualifications in Leadership & Management have been specially designed to give practising or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development as a manager.
The Award in Leadership & Management is a concise qualification which gives an introduction to the basic skills, knowledge, and understanding required by today’s first line manager. The mandatory unit in ‘Solving Problems and Making Decisions’ is designed to develop practical techniques for tackling managerial problems and decisions from gathering and interpreting information through to the effective communication of outcomes.
ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management
The ILM Level 5 qualifications in management have been specially designed to give practising or aspiring middle managers a solid foundation in their formal development in this role.
The Award in Leadership & Management is a concise qualification aimed at developing basic middle management skills and knowledge. The mandatory unit, ‘Understanding the management role’, examines organisational structure and function, the roles and responsibilities of managers and the effect of communication and interpersonal skills on managerial performance.
