In the first half of 2023 Jarrold Training supported Priscilla Bacon Norfolk Hospice Care, a local charity (number 1166579) that was set up to fundraise for and build the new hospice on an 8-acre site next to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The hospice will replace the current facility on Unthank Road in Norwich, established 40 years ago through public fundraising campaign.
Priscilla Bacon Lodge (PBL) is a specialist inpatient service for people who have complex palliative care needs including physical, emotional, social and/or spiritual needs. With only 16 beds, the current building, facilities and surrounding environment no longer meet the needs of our community.
The new hospice will provide more people with quality end-of-life care they desperately need. It will be the most modern facility in the region with a greater number of beds and a wider range of community day care and outpatients services
The 500 Club
The 500 Club is a community of local business and organisations working together to support each other, whilst pledging their support for Pricilla Bacon Hospice.
