NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction – Units NCC1 & NCC2

Course overview

Units Covered: NCC1 & NCC2.

The National Construction Certificate is designed for supervisors and managers within the construction industry and is designed to provide a sound breadth of underpinning knowledge that enables them to discharge more effectively their duties with respect to health and safety in construction activities.

The course is also likely to prove useful for those concerned with the management of buildings who may need to ensure that contractors are working safely. The qualification is also appropriate for supervisors and managers working in other industries such as utilities, and even broadcasting, where temporary workplaces are a feature of their activities.

The NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is accredited at Level 3 within the National Qualification Framework and also meets the academic requirements of IOSH for Technician membership (TechIOSH). The qualification is also accepted by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (llRSM) for associate membership.

For this qualification you should plan your study around 70 taught hours and approximately 35 hours of private study and background reading. Please refer to the full NEBOSH Syllabus Guide for more details.
