ILM Apprentices Celebrate First Exam Milestone
‘We are so proud of our first three apprentices, Chris, Katy and Lynn, who have gained their inital ILM credits towards their diploma.
The first official stage of assessment in their learning journey, was an ‘on-line’ examination of the knowledge gained in the first two units, which covered Managing People and Leading people.
The credits gained will go towards a full ILM level 3 diploma as a Team Leader or Supervisor as part of the apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship is a rigorous programme of leadership and management learning taken over the course of a minimum period of a year and combines both academic, classroom style learning as well as application in the workplace with lots of support, coaching and mentoring.’
Chris, Katy and Lynn (along with the others apprentices) will also be producing a portfolio of evidence, as well as facing a ‘professional conversation’ where they will be interviewed by a panel of experts against the key criteria of their learning. It is a demanding course and they have all applied themselves enthusiastically to the training and we could not be happier with them.’
