There are no pre-requisites for entry to the course, but delegates must be in employment and a minimum of GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) is desirable. Delegates who do not already have management responsibility will need the support of their employer to be able to apply their learning in the workplace.
Course overview
The level 5 Operations manager Apprenticeship is Ideal for professionals who manage teams or projects, and are responsible for achieving operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of their organisation’s strategy.
This course is for practising middle managers with responsibility for substantial programmes and resources. It develops skills in strategic planning and change, and business process design, alongside core leadership and management abilities.
Responsibilities may include everything from creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, to managing change, financial and resource management, development of strategy and talent management
Suitable occupations may include: those of Operations Manager, Area Manager, Regional Manager, Department Manager as well as other specialist managers.
Courses are delivered in two ways, either “closed” (A bespoke Apprenticeship delivered for one employers staff only) or “open”, with delegates from a range of employers and business sectors.
