The Qualsafe Emergency First Aid At Work & Forestry First Aid + F Level 3 Award (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have the responsibility to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations.
The Forestry First Aid accompanies the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and is for people who may deal with special hazards in an emergency situation within a forestry/agricultural context.
To register on to this qualification, delegates must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training.
There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that delegates have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.
This qualification is assessed by:
- Continuous observation by the trainer
- Practical demonstrations
- Written multiple choice question papers at the end of the course.
On successful completion of the course delegates will be awarded the Qualsafe Emergency First Aid At Work & Forestry First Aid +F Level 3 Award (RQF).
This qualification is valid for a period of 3 years. Delegates will need to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.
The course runs from 8am through to 6pm.
The course can also be run over 2 days, with 5 hour sessions on each day.
You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. A specialist tutor will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills and questions are always welcome.
