Habits, communication and leading consistently under pressure 

Knowing who you are as a leader is one thing. Staying there, when pressure builds, old habits creep back, and the people around you are inconsistent is another thing entirely. 

This session is about the ongoing practice of great leadership: recognising your own early warning signs before they become patterns, catching the communication gaps that quietly undermine your impact, and spotting these same dynamics in your team. We also explore a genuinely contemporary leadership question, when you use AI tools to communicate on your behalf, whose voice is actually showing up? And is it the leader you’re becoming, or the one you’re trying to move away from?

• Recognising your own early warning signs and pattern interrupts 
• Spotting the same patterns in your team and responding well 
• Communication gaps- the confidence/clarity mismatch 
• Disempowering language: in yourself, your team and your written voice 
• AI, language and leadership identity- what your tools are learning from you 
• Leading consistently when life, people and pressure test you
