Jarrold Group is thrilled to unveil a bold new chapter and an exciting development for the city of Norwich as we set out to regenerate one of its most treasured landmarks—St James Mill.

The Grade I listed building has been the Jarrold Group headquarters for more than 30 years and a landmark in the city since 1839. Jarrold Group is excited to announce plans to transform the mill into an 88-bedroom luxury hotel, complete with stunning views across the city, a spa, restaurant, and more.

As custodians of this historic site, we are committed to preserving its beauty while investing in Norwich’s vibrant future. Teams across the Jarrold Group have crafted a vision that honours the heritage of the building and of our business, while also embracing our spirit of innovation. Developing St James Mill is a cornerstone of that vision and we’re proud to share our plans with the community we serve.

Jarrold Training will continue to operate out of St James Mill for the forseeable future until we relocate our Training Centre to a new home within the Jarrold Whitefriars property estate.
