Course Aims:

This course is designed to provide delegates with the basics of using Microsoft Publisher to give text a professional typeset appearance.  The facilities and features of Microsoft Publisher enable the user to combine text with pictures and drawings on the screen, then to re-arrange them into the desired format before sending to the printer.  There is ample opportunity to learn through practical experience by working on the specially prepared examples designed to help the delegate become confident and competent in using Microsoft Publisher.

If you have any examples of publications you would like to create please bring them with you.

Assumed Knowledge:

Basic familiarity with PCs and experience of using Windows is required, gained either from the work place or by attendance on a Jarrold Training course. Prior experience of using Word would be beneficial but not essential.
