Course Aims:
With Google placing a higher priority on video content it is more important than ever to have good quality video embedded on your website.
For the majority of companies, no matter what size, their main marketing tool is their website. Over the past 5 years websites have been developing at a frantic pace and the tools available for individuals and companies to produce their own website have become much more varied and accessible. With ever increasing internet speeds and the development of Flash, Windows Media Player, QuickTime and of course sites such as YouTube, it is now easier to place video content on websites.
This practical course run, by experienced film and documentary makers, is aimed at people who want to be able to produce video content for websites, without a major investment.
The first day will help delegates to understand what types of video work well on websites and the equipment needed to produce them. The second day will be an intensive and practical session where delegates will learn how to edit their own work with a resulting 30 or 60 second video being completed.
Assumed Knowledge:
No prior knowledge of producing video content is needed or experience of web design but delegates should have basic computer skills. Technical equipment will be provided for the course in terms of cameras and editing software.
The next course dates:
6 and 13 October
