Course Aims:

An intensive course designed to provide participants with a solid understanding of the underlying principles, key techniques and people management skills essential for effective project management.

Provides a foundation in project management principles for those intending to study a project management methodology.  Also covers key techniques and vital people management skills required of project managers but which are not covered by PRINCE2.

Teaching is delivered through a mixture of instructor led tuition, discussion groups and practical exercises.

Assumed Knowledge:

Newcomers to project management who need a good understanding of the fundamental principles, techniques and people management aspects of project management, including those intending to study a project management methodology such as PRINCE2.
